My name is Claire and I'm an artist originally from Davenport, Iowa. I love to explore many different mediums but am most often drawn to painting. My paintings explore themes of place, identity, light and color. The practice of painting is a way of understanding myself better and knowing the place where I am more fully. I hope it is also a way to lead others towards attentiveness and intimacy. It's a privilege to be able to share this practice with others.
